Weather is to save your assets for later, too enjoy a new look, or is not to look like you are missing teeth. Grillz has been growing its popularity, specially after the Nelly song, entitled “Grillz” 23/11/2009.
Every year now, I can say that someone is opening up a grills business, or increasing its popularity. Artist from around the world has recognised the craft and ordering their own design as well as some art statement from ancient and modern artists, to go into such a small detail art work such as Grillz.
At jewelzandartz, we practise jewellery as well as art, which defines everything creative.
Jose’s workshop practice can derive from painting to a sculpture matter. He graduated from contemporary jewellery design and related products which can apply to anything really. Throughout his career, he experienced himself with studio, presentation and selling events. He takes inspiration from people and its natural habitats, mostly architectural cityscapes.
Grillz:
First step when making a Grillz:
- How is the moulding process?
Customers can book a slot for getting a teeth impressions done by us. Customer can send their own teeth impressions to us, we will fit the design or plain Grillz to the mould we are given. The customers is responsible for giving us good the correct teeth impression.
-How to make a teeth impression?
Moulding teeth when you are experienced, it can take from 10 minutes to 25 minutes.
First thing you want to check is if the client has a retainer or any teeth implants. This can interfere with moulding your teeth because when removing it will cause damage of your retainer or implants.
Making sure the hygiene is to high standards.
Wash your hands frequently, tissue paper available for the client and for the person taking the moulding. Brush your teeth before the moulding for more accurate results.
Wash and tide up everything after the teeth impressions is necessary.
-Estimate Turn Around (ETA)
We will process your request one day after completing your teeth impressions as well as a confirmation of the payment or deposit.
However, it can take up to two or four weeks before you have your customised Grillz. Depending upon the design choices and the quantity of the product. When a plain silver or gold cap Grillz can take twelve days, a design or stone setting Grillz can take up to four weeks.
Ask for express service to get it faster, however the price will vary depending upon how fast you want it. It can cost from £50 - £100 on top of your budget for an express service.
-Updating or changing your design:
We want to keep you updated on your order, however sometimes we will just focus on the making. Please, email us or WhatsApp if you are interested in knowing how you order is getting to life.
Changing your idea is possible but please be considerate that after we send it to casting (the process of making your design into the chosen metal) there is not much we can do to change. However, get in touch with us and we will see what can be done.
- Refund
Our Teeth impressions are not refundable.
Every time a new mould is needed, customer will have to pay for it. The teeth impression can be used only three times, and most of the time our makers will cast your teeth impressions three times already for most accuracy fit.
We offer temporary teeth impressions storage, teeth impressions that will have expiring date of 6 months for accurate fit, when you buy a consultation teeth impressions only. When you order a home kit impression is your responsibility to keep it safe and reliable for shipping it to us. We will let you know as soon as we receive your teeth impressions. And will start the making process one day after receiving the shipment.
Customer is responsible for telling us about any allergy and reactions to the materials requested for moulding or metal. This includes any metal or teeth impressions compounds that may have allergens.
To best avoid any skin problems, is always better to order 18 Karat gold or higher.
Silver is antibacterial, however, it can oxidise and look like allergic reaction.
To avoid this, we ask that you pay your silver grillz prices including the rhodium (white gold plating, which will protect and make the silver shine last for longer).
At Jewelzandartz, we don’t limitation upon the materials, however, to make a custom Grillz we only work with Silver and Gold as base of building your Grillz.
- Gold karats and colours
Karat gold is various, so the price also vary. Carat means the quantity of gold percentages in the metal. We have three different colours for gold but karats is what you are looking for.
When 9 Karat also known as ‘375’ holds 37.5% of pure gold, and 62.5 % holds different metals such as silver, copper, nickel, etc.
22 carats ‘916’ gold means that it contains 91.6% pure gold. Containing other alloys to allow the shaping of the gold or silver.
-Why Karats?
Pure Gold (24K) and pure silver (999)
We offer from 9 karat gold to 22 karats gold. Pure gold and silver is entirely hypoallergenic, however, we use karats and sterling silver (925). Karat is what makes other colour golds; this can be fund on white gold, rose gold, and the yellow gold. It will have other alloys metal to constitute.

- Maintenance of your jewellery
Always wash your grillz before and after wearing it. Before touching your jewellery make sure you wash and disinfect your hands too.
While some of us buy a cleaning solution, others will leave it inside hot water with vinegar, brush with toothpaste. The best way to keep your jewellery clean, may also take out the shining (polish).
We recommend polishing your grillz every 3 months, however, you may want to re-polish it quicker and that’s fine. Keeping in mind that after every polish your metal is decreasing its weight but very small and most of case is not noticeable.
We only repair jewellery made by us!
To re-polish or repairing your Jewellery or Grillz, just email us or call. We are here to help, always! If you’re not happy with the polish you can claim it within a week of polishing.
- Storage for your Grillz
Keep your jewellery clean inside the appropriate box apart from other accessories.
Re-Polish your jewellery every 6 months. This can be requested for a fee agreed.
Hazards :
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Jewellery can cross-contamination.
- Some parts may be sharp.
- Some parts can be swallowed.
- While wearing your gold or silver cap , no eating, no smoking or alcoholic drinks.
- Shopping
Shopping with us is limitless, however, we would appreciate if you come to us with a basis of what you want and we will help on its development. Minding your time slot.
We do not buy your metals, stones or gems back. We can use your old materials to build a new product for you only, to low your rate.
- Return
You have the period of one month to claim any repairs for free on your jewellery and two weeks for Grillz.
Unfortunately our Artz is not refundable.
Customers are responsible for shipping any item to us safely.
- Trade
Jewelzandartz Ltd, is the maker of all our products. Products can sometimes include a creditable traders, collaborative work to ensure the quality meets own vision.
We have big brands creditable to buy our metals, jewellery tools, laser cutting and engraving, 3D CAD design, 3D printing, enamelling, gems and stones.
- Consent
We need your consent for publishing your custom products by us.
You need our consent for taking any pictures of us in the workshop or events.
Your information is not stored for more than 3 months. This includes the moulding teeth impressions, teeth castings, all your personal details are destroyed. Such as your name and address and more sensitive information.
We will only keep our messages and email when in contact with the clients.
Your transaction order will remain in our history bank statement. These information is only used to recognise your transaction with us.
